Brian McHale, 68 Brian McHale, 68, passed away pe Brian McHale, 68

Brian McHale, 68, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026, at his home in Gaston, South Carolina. Born on August 23, 1957 in Boston, Massachusetts, Brian grew up in East Boston, raised his daughter in Wayland, and eventually made Florida and then South Carolina his home, where he found comfort in a quieter life and familiar routines.

Chris E. Applin Chris E. Applin, 77, passed away Chris E. Applin

Chris E. Applin, 77, passed away on Feb. 8, 2026, at his home. He was a lifelong Wayland resident. Chris honorably served his country during the Vietnam War until his honorable discharge in May 1970. He battled with his fellow infantrymen on Hill 937, commonly known as “Hamburger Hill.”
