It’s a new school year — start it off with a donation to the Wayland Post!

Dear neighbors,
You’ve blown us away — 418 of you have already pitched in, helping us raise an amazing $155,000! But summer is ending, and as we all gear up for school and the busy season ahead, it’s the perfect time to join your fellow residents and support local journalism.

Here’s the thing: our momentum is slowing, and we urgently need your help. If you’ve been waiting for the right moment, this is it. Every donation, big or small, makes a tremendous difference. To keep bringing you free local news (and keeping our journalists stocked with coffee), we need at least 1,000 Wayland residents to contribute $240 each annually. Think of it as a subscription to your community.

Advertising helps tremendously, but it’s most effective when residents speak up. Next time you’re enjoying local dining, shopping, or services — even in nearby towns — encourage these businesses to advertise with us. Remind them their ads in the Wayland Post earn your loyalty. And don’t be shy: tell them you noticed their ad right here.

Two easy ways to contribute:

  1. Scan the QR code to set up a secure recurring donation.
  2. Visit waylandpost.org/donate and choose your level.
Thank you for believing in community journalism and joining your neighbors to keep the Wayland Post thriving!
