David JosephWalsh, Age 90

WALSH, of Framingham, formerly of Wayland and Belmont, died peacefully on November 5, 2025. He was born in Medford on April 20, 1935, the son of the late Dennis J. and Catherine L. (McCann) Walsh. David was the loving husband of the late Mary Theresa “Miriam” (Slattery) Walsh, who died on June 22, 2022. He was the brother of the late Francis Walsh and his wife, Ann, the late Robert Walsh and his wife, Norma and the late Donald Walsh and his wife, Barbara. He is survived by many devoted and beloved nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews in the United States and Ireland. He spent his formative years in Belmont and was a graduate of Belmont High School with the Class of 1953 and then entered the United States Army, where he served his country with honor and pride as a PFC from 1954 through 1962. He had a long career as a Millwright with the Raytheon Corp before retiring. He and Mary enjoyed their many trips back to Ireland to Tralee, County Kerry, where they visited family and friends and the countryside of Mary’s youth. David and Mary spent many winters in Vero Beach, FL, with their circle of friends they have met over the years. He was an avid sports fan and delighted in watching all the Boston sports teams. He had a special fondness for Notre Dame Football. He will be fondly loved and remembered by all the lives that he touched in his 90 years. Visitations will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Rd. (off Rte. 30), WAYLAND. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, at Good Shepherd Parish at Saint Ann Church, 134 Cochituate Rd. (Rte 27), Wayland.
