Sophie (Panos) Mazokopos of Wayland died on September 25, 2025. Beloved mother of Charles A. Mazokopos and his wife, Megan of Wayland and Maria E. Speckman and her husband, Bobby of Bennington, NH. Cherished grandmother of Mia, Nathan and Alexa, all of Wayland. Sister of Mary Vestinos of Framingham.

Her funeral was held on Friday, October 3 at Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Weston. Burial was private. In lieu of flowers, gifts in Sophieโ€™s memory may be sent to the Susan G. Komen, 13770 Noel Road, Suite 801889, Dallas, TX 75380 (komen.org) or Guardian Angels Cat Rescue, P.O. Box 5533, Wayland, MA 01778.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the John C. Bryant Funeral Home of Wayland.
