Arts Wayland Presents: unexpected Delights

Come visit the Goodnow Library in Sudbury between May 1st and May 31st to see the Arts Wayland Exhibit “Unexpected Delights.”

During the creative process, there are always those special moments when something unexpected happens. Perhaps it’s seeing something in your subject that you’ve never noticed before (e.g., the faces in orchids or a particular image embedded in the clouds). Perhaps it’s an unanticipated result created by using a new tool or material or perspective. Perhaps it’s the mystery embedded in the creative process itself when the outcome is uncertain such as in poured painting or eco printing. For this exhibit, we asked our member artists to interpret the concept of “unexpected delights” in their own creative way and were dazzled by the responses!

There will be an artist reception, open to the public and free of charge, on Thursday, May 29th from 6 pm to 8 pm. Hope to see you there!
