Mosaic Heart or Jewelry Workshop

Take a break from the everyday and spend an inspiring afternoon creating art with Arts Wayland member Amy Marks. These relaxed, hands-on mosaic workshops invite you to design and complete either a decorative round mosaic mirror or a mosaic heart in a single afternoon.

Choose from a wide selection of materials—including millefiori, beads, recycled jewelry, and glass—to bring your design to life. Participants are encouraged to bring pieces of costume jewelry that hold personal meaning to incorporate into their mosaic, making each finished piece truly unique. Whether you gravitate toward intricate designs or clean, simple patterns, your mosaic will reflect your own style and creativity.

Workshops take place on March 7, April 4, and May 3, from 1:00 to 4:30 PM, at Amy Marks’ workshop in Waltham. The finished mirror (mirror plus border) measures 7 inches in diameter, and the heart measures 8 inches in diameter—perfect for adding a handmade touch to your home or gifting to someone special.

All experience levels are welcome, and you’ll leave with a completed piece you’ll enjoy for years to come.
