Arts Wayland proudly presents our March in-person exhibit, The March of Time, on display at the Weston Library Community Room from March 5 through March 31. The theme for this exhibit offered artists the opportunity to create and display works that reflect or capture the passage of time, fleeting moments, memories of past experiences, as well as transitions. Interpretations of this theme also included the many changes and transformations that occur during the month of March (e.g., the warming temperatures, the longer days, the budding flowers, and the return of migrating birds). Artists were encouraged to submit representational or abstract works that express what they find fascinating, inspiring, exciting, or foreboding about the passage of time and/or the transition to Spring. You can view this work online as well at https://artswayland.com/collections/march-2025-art-exhibit. We are also happy to invite the public to a reception and performance to celebrate this work on March 30th at 2 pm at the Weston Library. The performance, part of our Margaret Stewart Lindsay Masterclass Series, will feature Mezzo Soprano Leslie Jacobson Kaye and Collaborative Pianist, Timothy Steele performing and lecturing on the works of Steven Sondheim. Seats are limited- please sign up for the Masterclass in advance at https://artswayland.com/pages/sondheim-unveiled-a-musical-journey
