Watercolor and Oil Pastel Workshop

Discover the vibrant possibilities of watercolor and oil pastel in this engaging eight-week class with Rahul Ray. Painting with Watercolor and Oil Pastel with Rahul Ray will meet Tuesdays from 5:45–7:15 pm at the Arts Wayland Gallery, running April 14 through June 2, 2026. In this small studio class (maximum of 6 students), participants will develop or refine their painting skills while exploring the expressive qualities of watercolor alongside the bold, colorful versatility of oil pastels. The course will focus on essential artistic foundations—including observation, perspective, scale, and technique—with sketching as an important part of the process. Through guided exercises featuring still life, landscape, and portrait subjects, students will gain confidence and practical skills in a supportive setting.
