Wednesday, Mar. 05, 2025

7:43 a.m.: A staff member from Loker School requested assistance for the crossing guard due to heavy traffic.

8:29 a.m.: Vandalism report at Town House Pool, 258 Old Connecticut Path. Property damage confirmed.

3:13 p.m.: Resident at 43 Rolling Ln. requested assistance to remove an owl from his property.

6:42 p.m.: Hazardous condition was reported at Villa Restaurant, 124 East Plain St. Odor of natural gas reported; area checked but no odor or readings were found.

Thursday, Mar. 06, 2025

1:03 a.m.: Alarm reported at 19 Whispering Ln.  The house was checked and secured.

1:20 a.m.: A road hazard was reported at 67 Old Connecticut Path. A large branch was moved off the road, and DPW was notified.

3:33 a.m.: A caller reported a tree was blocking the roadway at 154 School St.  DPW was notified.

4:40 a.m.: A road hazard was reported at 251 Old Connecticut Path, with a tree in the roadway. DPW was notified.

5:19 a.m.: A caller reported a large branch blocking Claypit Hill Road.  

12:20 p.m.: Fire department received a report of a large volume of smoke in the area of Sandy Burr, under a burn permit.  The fire was extinguished.

Friday, Mar. 07, 2025

4:37 a.m.: A caller reported a suspicious motor vehicle turning into several driveways near 5 Concord Road.  The officer checked the vehicle and determined the driver was delivering papers.  

6:11 a.m.: A resident of Brewster Road reported a tree had fallen across the road and the house drop was taken out.  Eversource was notified.

7:11 a.m.: A resident of Lincoln Road reported a tree limb on the wires.  Eversource and Verizon were notified.

10:31 a.m.: A report was called in of a tree blocking Glezen Lane at number 206.   DPW was notified.

11:48 a.m.: A tree was reported to be on the wires and causing arcing at 357 Commonwealth Rd.  Eversource was notified.

2:11 p.m.: A caller reported a telephone pole was down across the road at 57 Stonebridge Road.

4:20 p.m.: Downed wires causing arcing at Country Corners Rd @ White Pine Knoll Rd. was reported.  Eversource was notified.

Saturday, Mar. 08, 2025

2:00 p.m.: Police responded to an accident involving 3 motor vehicles at 450 Boston Post Road (Rt. 20).

4:58 p.m.:  Fire department notified Comcast of a low hanging wire at 71 Stonebridge Rd. 

5:15 p.m.: A tree limb leaning on a wire prompted notification of Verizon by the fire department.  

Sunday, Mar. 09, 2025

11:07 a.m.: A resident of Heard Rd. reported a sick raccoon.  Animal Control was notified and they will remove it.

12:26 p.m.: An odor of gas was reported in the vicinity of Loker and School Streets.   No leak was found.

Monday, Mar. 10, 2025

8:24 a.m.: A caller from Wayland High School (264 Old Connecticut Path) reported a wire down in the roadway.  Verizon was notified.  

3:59 p.m.: A fire telephone alarm from Folsom’s Pond Road turned out to be due to smoke from cooking.

6:12 p.m.: Natick Police requested assistance locating a missing 11 year old child, last seen at about 3:30 p.m. leaving the Wilson School near the Rt. 9/27 Plaza.  

Tuesday, Mar. 11, 2025

2:15 a.m.: A caller from Shore Drive reported her dog had managed to get itself stuck, possibly under a fence.  The dog was freed by the police and fire departments.  

10:32 a.m.: A resident of Spencer Circle contacted the fire department about a loudly arcing exterior motion sensor light.  The Fire department cut power to the light and advised the homeowner to call an electrician.  

2:28 p.m.: A report was called in that a tree was in the road at the Cow Common parking area on Old Sudbury Road.

4:15 p.m.: A brush fire was reported behind a home on School Street with smoke and visible flames.  The fire was extinguished.

8:34 p.m.: A caller at 206 Main Street reported an odor of gas in the home.  The fire department found that the odor was coming from a gas can located outside a window.  There were no readings in the home.  Wayland Housing Authority was notified.

Wednesday, Mar. 12, 2025

10:41 a.m.: A caller from the Wayland Middle School (197 Main St) reported a strange odor.  The Fire department checked and found no odor and zero readings.

5:41 p.m.: A larceny report was received via 911 from 6 Bent Avenue. 

Thursday, Mar. 13, 2025

12:30 a.m.: A caller at Alta Oxbow (494 Boston Post Road) complained that his neighbors have been “talking or arguing” loudly for a couple of hours.  

7:13 p.m.: Natural gas odor at 8 King St. was reported by a walk-in and addressed by the fire department.

7:44 p.m.: A caller reported a car that was driving erratically on Boston Post Road (Rt. 20) near Jindu.  The officer gave the vehicle’s operator a verbal citation. 

Friday, Mar. 14, 2025

3:14 p.m.: A walk-in reported the theft of a cell phone from 10 Green Way.

3:33 p.m.: Fire department responded to a caller who stated her carbon monoxide detectors were going off.  There were zero readings.  The fire department states the issue was related to the batteries.

Saturday, Mar. 15, 2025

10:43 a.m.:   A 2-car motor vehicle accident was reported to have occurred at Old Connecticut Path at Pineridge Rd.  One car was towed to State Road Autobody.

1:27 p.m:  An alarm went off at Beth Israel Deaconess medical office building at 109 Andrew Avenue.  The responding officer reported that the lobby door was not secured.

2:58 p.m.: A caller reported seeing a small child about 3 years of age on Rt. 27 without supervision.  

Sunday,  Mar. 16, 2025

12:49 a.m.:  Lincoln Police Department was seeking a male suspect (black mustache, sweatshirt, brown pants, ski mask) near the Lincoln line. The area was checked; no suspect was located.

9:05 a.m.: A caller reported a carjacking at the parking lot at 317 Boston Post Road.  The Chelsea Police Department was notified and they located the vehicle in their city, unoccupied.

10:12 a.m.: A damaged mailbox was reported by an Oak Street resident.

11:50 a.m.: Residents of 3 Winthrop Road sought assistance after being locked out of their car.  The Fire department was able to gain access.

1:24 p.m.: A person walked into the station to speak with an officer about damage to a property behind his house.

A caller from Hayward Road reported a tree was down with wires involved, and that they did not have power.  Eversource arrived on the scene shortly afterwards.
