Monday, May 26

6:40 a.m. — A caller reported that a deer was struck by a car at Concord Road near Sherman’s Bridge Road. Animal Control was notified.

4:46 p.m. — A complaint was received of motorcycles speeding up and down Woodridge Road near Fox Meadow Lane. The parties were located and advised.

4:50 p.m. — A resident of Dean Road reported damage to his daughter’s bicycle.

7:25 p.m. — A report was called in of a large dead animal blocking the roadway near Mel’s Restaurant (310 Commonwealth Rd).

8:28 p.m. — A 911 call concerning erratic operation of a motor vehicle led to the arrest of Bambi Halloran, 78, of Wayland, for OUI.

Tuesday, May 27

1:46 p.m. — A two-car motor vehicle accident was reported at Goddard School (367 Commonwealth Rd.); no injuries were reported.


3:25 p.m. — A caller reported finding a dog without a collar on the ballfield at West Plain Street. The owner retrieved the dog prior to the arrival of an officer.


7:16 p.m. — An injured deer was observed on Mainstone Road at Glen Oak Drive. Police determined the deer was fine and reunited with its mother.

Wednesday, May 28

7:28 a.m. — Police received a report of breaking and entry of two motor vehicles on Concord Road near the Lincoln line. (Three other cars in the same vicinity but in Lincoln were also broken into.)


10:06 a.m. — A resident of York Road reported that her vehicle was gone through overnight.

Thursday, May 29

2:27 a.m. — Police received from the high school a radio report of vandalism.


10:28 a.m. — A caller reported that a male, possibly intoxicated, was urinating in the parking lot of Donelan’s Market (177 Commonwealth Rd). The party was observed leaving the parking lot and driving away in a white jeep. Police stopped the vehicle at Pemberton and Commonwealth Roads and arrested the driver, Stephen Robb, 43, of Natick, for OUI, reckless operation, and possession of an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.


3:28 p.m. — A minor two-car accident with no injuries was reported to have occurred at Happy Hollow School (63 Pequot Rd.).

Friday, May 30

12:01 a.m. — A resident of Glezen Lane called to report loud music and a small fire in the field behind his house. Public Safety responded and a report was filed.


1:26 p.m. — A motor vehicle accident near Indian Road and Old Connecticut Path involving two cars resulted in a utility pole being struck. Electric company and Verizon were notified, and one car was towed.


1:42 p.m. — A two-car accident at Starbuck’s Coffee (44 Main St.) was reported.


3:24 p.m. — A caller reported an attempted shoplifting at CVS Pharmacy (West Plain and Main Streets) earlier in the day.


3:29 p.m. — A single-car accident occurred on Glezen Lane at Saddle Lane. One person was transported to the hospital, the car was towed, and DPW was notified that a speed sign on the road was damaged.


5:19 p.m. — A caller phoned in a report of a shoplifting incident at CVS Pharmacy (150 Main St.).

Saturday, May 31

2:25 a.m. — A Mansion Road resident reported kids running in the street and being loud. They were located at Mansion Beach and were advised to keep the noise down.


11:57 a.m. — Two cars were involved in an accident at the Sunoco station (78 Boston Post Rd.).


6:30 p.m. — A party walked in to the Public Safety Building to report that someone had attempted to break into their car when it was parked at Hamlen Woods (100 Rice Rd.).

Sunday, June 1

8:22 a.m. — A caller reported that there was a fence blocking the east-bound lane of Route 20 near Jindu (131 Boston Post Rd.); officers were able to remove the hazard.


3:58 p.m. — A motor vehicle crash involving two cars occurred on Commonwealth Road.

Monday, June 2

3:18 pm — A two-car accident occurred at the intersection of Boston Post Road and Old Connecticut Path.

Tuesday, June 3

3:33 p.m. — A motor vehicle crash between two cars occurred at 70 Boston Post Rd. No injuries were reported. One driver, David Lau, 57, of Weston was arrested on a warrant, and following bail was returned to his vehicle.


3:41 p.m. — Two vehicles were involved in an accident on Cochituate Road; no injuries occurred.


9:05 p.m. — A two-car crash at the intersection of Boston Post Road and Old Connecticut Path resulted in no injuries.

Wednesday, June 4

5:34 p.m. — Several calls were received about a sick or dead otter in the roadway on Rice Road at Mainstone Road. Animal Control was notified.


5:44 p.m. — A caller reported that a water spigot at the Wayland Public Gardens on Old Sudbury Road had broken and water was freely flowing. Water Department was notified.

Thursday, June 5

2:52 a.m. — An officer stated that he moved a dead deer to the side of Concord Road near Sherman’s Bridge Road. The officer intended to notify Animal Control.


6:12 a.m. — An officer observed that there were pieces of wood on Boston Post Road near Rich Valley Road. Mass Highway was notified.


4:59 p.m. — A caller reported there was a baby beaver in her yard. The officer brought the animal back to the station and contacted Animal Control, who took possession.


7:03 p.m. — A report was received of a large turtle causing a road hazard at Alta Oxbow (490 Boston Post Road). When the officer arrived, the turtle was off to the side of the road and was no longer a hazard.


7:14 p.m.– Natick Police requested assistance with a fight in progress at Cochituate State Park (43 Commonwealth Rd., Natick).


9:40 p.m. — A caller stated that her daughter’s Airpods were stolen at a soccer game, and that she was able to track them to a home in town. The officer spoke with the homeowner but they were unable to locate the Airpods.

Friday, June 6

8:52 a.m. — A gas leak was detected in the front yard of a house on Peck Avenue. National Grid arrived on the scene, and the gas was shut off.


10:55 a.m. — Several calls were received about a multi-car accident on Concord Road at Sherman’s Bridge Road. Two vehicles had to be towed, and one person was transported to Emerson Hospital.


7:20 p.m. — A caller reported a large turtle causing a road hazard near Alta Oxbow (490 Boston Post Rd). The turtle was moved off to the side of the road.

Saturday, June 7

11:14 a.m. — Framingham police requested assistance locating a missing 5 year-old boy. The child was found.


4:43 p.m. — A caller reported the traffic lights at Commonwealth Road and Oak Street were flashing. The officers were able to reset the signals.


7:16 p.m. — A two-car accident occurred in the vicinity of Wayland Automotive (322 Commonwealth Rd). Both cars were towed.

Sunday, June 8

4:52 a.m. — Police found a tree across the roadway on Loker St. DPW was notified.


12:47 p.m. — A caller reported that a toilet was discarded on the playground at Happy Hollow School (63 Pequot Rd). DPW was notified.
