Monday, March 2
2:12 p.m. — A resident of West Plain Street called to report a scam involving DoorDash.
2:39 p.m. — A caller from Parkland Drive spoke with an officer regarding text messages she is receiving, telling her to respond to court.
3:02 p.m. — A report of a motor vehicle accident that occurred a few days earlier at The Local, 1 Andrew Ave., was provided by someone coming to the Public Safety office.
4:46 p.m. — Responding to a caller on Highland Circle, the Fire Department notified the electric company of a broken wire that was in a snowbank.
4:52 p.m. — A Glezen Lane resident notified Public Safety that a wire was down across the road. The cable company was notified.
Tuesday, March 3
3:50 p.m. — A motor vehicle accident at Rice and Turkey Hill roads involving two SUVs was reported via 911. One person was taken to Newton-Wellesley Hospital, one car was towed, and the DPW was called in to deal with the roadway.
4:22 p.m. — A caller reported a two-car accident at Cochituate and Woodridge roads.
4:30 p.m. — An officer responding to a call about a single-car accident at Cochituate Road and School Street was able to get the vehicle unstuck and on its way.
4:45 p.m. — A two-vehicle crash on Commonwealth Road was reported by 911.
Wednesday, March 4
6:54 a.m. — A caller from Glezen Lane reported a branch was leaning on some wires. Eversource was notified.
7:07 a.m. — A caller from Stonebridge Road reported that large branches were blocking the roadway. DPW was notified.
7:08 a.m. — From Caulfield Road at School Street, the Fire Department received a report of a breaker explosion and fire on the pole, with a large tree branch on primary wires. Eversource was notified.
8:11 a.m. — DPW reported that wires were taken down by a tree branch on Hickory Hill Road. Eversource was notified and the area was taped off.
11:11 a.m. — According to a 911 caller, there was a collision with a coyote on Old Connecticut Path near Rice Road.
2:42 p.m. — From Heard Road, the Fire Department received a 911 call from a person who needed help carrying her injured dog out of the woods.
6:46 p.m. — The Fire Department reported an outside odor of gas on Eden Road. The gas company was notified.
Thursday, March 5
5:46 a.m. — A driver called about striking a deer on Cochituate Road. No tow was needed.
7:51 a.m. — A caller from Old Connecticut Path near Charena Road was concerned about low-hanging wires. Verizon and Eversource were notified, and wires were moved off the roadway.
8:47 a.m. — An injured raccoon was found by a Woodridge Road resident, who called 911 for help. Officers arrived on the scene and were monitoring the animal while making arrangements with Newhouse Wildlife Rescue when the raccoon walked off into the nearby woods.
9:26 a.m. — A caller from Plain Road was concerned about the odor of gas outside the house. Responding fire personnel determined that the odor was from a skunk.
10:11 a.m. — A resident of Winthrop Terrace telephoned the Fire Department out of concern about a gas leak. Responders detected a propane odor inside; the system was shut down, the house was ventilated, and the propane company arrived on the scene.
1:34 p.m. — Police received multiple calls about a van off the roadway on Cochituate Road near Windy Hill Lane. DPW was notified that the Windy Hill street sign had been knocked down.
Friday, March 6
8:26 a.m. — A caller from Brook Trail Road reported downed wires. Eversource was notified.
Saturday, March 7
2:16 p.m. — A resident of School Street called about a slight odor of gas in the house. National Grid was notified.
Sunday, March 8
5:16 p.m. — A call from Boston Post Road at Vokes Theater reported a large stone in the roadway. Responding personnel removed the rock.
Monday, March 9
8:37 a.m. — A 911 call from 110 Grill, 171 Commonwealth Road, reported a driver hit several snowbanks before entering a parking lot. The driver was picked up by his son, and the vehicle will be retrieved later.
11:18 a.m. — A resident of Wheelock Road called when a carbon monoxide alarm went off in the basement. The fire department measured carbon monoxide present and ventilated the house until readings reached zero.
8:43 p.m. — A caller reported that the traffic lights on Commonwealth Road at Rice Road were not working. Responder was unable to reset the lights; the electrical contractor who maintains the lights was called.
Tuesday, March 10
11:09 a.m. — A caller from Alta Oxbow, 494 Boston Post Road, stated that someone had entered her vehicle and taken some items. It was not known if the vehicle was left unlocked.
8:24 p.m. — A resident of Pilgrim Path called the station about two females who came to her door claiming to be representatives of Verizon and asking to use her bathroom. The caller was advised.
9:14 p.m. — A citizen came to the station to speak with an officer regarding an incident she had with a group of teens in the parking lot of the CVS at 150 Main St.
Wednesday, March 11
7:37 a.m. — A caller from Timber Lane reported a wire down across the roadway. It was a communications wire; Verizon was notified.
1:21 p.m. — A motor vehicle accident at 322 Commonwealth Ave. involved three cars; there were no injuries.
6:01 p.m. — A caller from Wheelock Road was concerned about a possible sinkhole. It was confirmed that there was a water main break, and the Water Department arrived to address the problem.
Thursday, March 12
2:30 p.m. — A call from Marshall Terrace reported a downed wire. Eversource was notified.
Friday, March 13
11:25 a.m. — A minor two-car accident occurred on Commonwealth Avenue and Pemberton Road. No injuries were reported.
12:39 p.m. — A crash between two vehicles occurred at the TD Bank, 57 Main St. There were no injuries.
12:58 p.m. — A call from Edgewood Road reported wires down; Comcast was notified.
1:54 p.m. — A report was phoned in that a two-car accident had occurred at Main Street and Commonwealth Road.
4:56 p.m. —The Fire Department spoke with a resident of Gage Road who had a fire pit, and advised them of the burning laws.
8:01 p.m. — Police responded to a call from Andrew Avenue concerning several vehicles parked in the roadway and other vehicles speeding around them.
Saturday, March 14
1:58 p.m. — A caller from Hearthstone Circle said that a tree had fallen and was partially obstructing the road. The tree was moved off the roadway and the area was taped off; DPW was notified.
9:11 p.m. — A 911 call from Alta Oxbow reported that a neighbor threw a traffic cone onto her vehicle. There was no damage to the vehicle; both parties were advised.
Sunday, March 15
8:50 a.m. — A wire was reported down by a 911 caller on Old Connecticut Path. Verizon was notified.
