Monday, Nov. 10

10:46 a.m. – A caller from Commonwealth Road reported a deceased or injured deer on the sidewalk.  An officer confirmed the deer was dead; animal control had been notified.

1:47 p. m. – A resident of Damon Street came to the station to report that items had been stolen from her vehicle.  

5:47 p.m. – A 911 call reported a larceny from The Lashery (15 E. Plain St.). 

9:12 p.m. – A caller from Mainstone Road reported a tree in the roadway.  The responding officer partially removed the obstruction and called DPW to remove the tree.

Tuesday, Nov 11

2:25 a.m. —  At Dunkin Donuts (15 East Plain St.) police located and took into custody a suspect who was wanted by Wellesley police.

11:41 p. m. – A Barney Hill Road resident reported a carbon monoxide alarm was activated in the house.  Carbon monoxide was detected in the basement; the house was vented.  

Wednesday, Nov. 12

10:32 a.m.—A call was received from the Sunoco Gas Station (19 Main St.) about a motor vehicle crash between a moving car and a parked, unoccupied SUV.  

3:05 p.m.—A 911 caller from Loker School reported that old ordnance was found in the woods behind the school.  The state police bomb squad was notified; they determined it was a window weight and presented no hazard.

Thursday, Nov. 13

8:21 a.m.—A motor vehicle crash between an SUV and a commercial vehicle was reported.  Police requested Fire Department and EMS to evaluate one juvenile passenger.  No transport to hospital was needed; minors were released to their parents. 

8:49 a.m.—A resident of Peck Avenue called police to discuss the possible larceny of some jewelry.

11:36 a.m.—A 911 call from Riverview Circle concerned an issue between two neighbors, one with a dog and the other with chickens.  No animals were harmed, and it was determined to be a matter of trespassing.  Both parties were advised.

3:10 p.m.—Fire Department responded to a 911 call from Green Way, where a pan of oil had ignited on the stove.  The fire was extinguished; the electric company and inspector were notified.

4:13 p.m.—A resident of Glezen Lane telephoned to report property damage done by a delivery driver.

11:33 p.m.—Police received a report of an animal in the roadway, determined to be a coyote pup; it was removed and animal control was notified.

4:58 p.m.—A motor vehicle accident between two SUVs occurred on Commonwealth Road and Main Street.  The damage was minor.

6:42 p.m.—Police found a large tree down on Plain Road.  Highway Department was called to remove it.

7:37 p.m.—A two-car accident on Concord Road near Holiday Road was reported; there were no injuries.

Saturday, Nov. 15

4:39 p.m.—Natick Police called regarding an unattended campfire on Snakebrook Trail in Cochituate State Park.  

Sunday, Nov. 16

4:12 p.m.—A 911 call reported a motor vehicle crash between a car and an SUV in the vicinity of Sandy Burr Country Club (103 Cochituate Road).  Three occupants were transported to hospital.  Arrested was Stephanie Pena, 35, of 78 E. Plain St., Wayland, charged with OUI (second offense) with serious injury, negligence, child endangerment and marked lanes violation while OUI.

Monday, Nov. 17

Tuesday, Nov. 18

10:39 a.m.—A resident of Wallace Road reported that a storm drain grate was creating a road hazard.  DPW was notified.

2:16 p.m.—A two-car accident was reported by a 911 call from Winter and Willard Sstreets.  

3:05 p.m.—A caller from Commonwealth Road concerned a car that had gone into the woods; there were no injuries but the car was towed.

4:04 p.m.—The Fire Department responded to a call from Davelin Road that there was a chemical smell in the caller’s house and she was feeling ill.  The response team found a boot cleaner that had spilled; no dangerous readings were found.

6:30 p.m.—A noise complaint was received from a resident of Cochituate Village Apartments; police advised the parties.

8:54 p.m.—A 911 call came in from Cochituate Village Apartments about objects being thrown in the foyer; police advised the parties. 

Wednesday, Nov. 19

9:48 a.m.—A resident of Snake Brook Road called to report a sick raccoon in the yard.  The animal was dispatched and animal control notified.

11:11 a.m.—A two- car accident that occurred at Sandy Burr Country Club (103 Cochituate Road) was called in by 911.  Injury occurred but transport to hospital was refused.

11:47 a.m.—Fire Department was notified of activation of a carbon monoxide alarm in a home on Squirrel Hill Road.  The house was metered and vented.

3:12 p.m.—A single vehicle accident occurred at Concord and Training Field Rroads.  

Thursday, Nov. 20

8:25 p.m.—A caller form Cochituate Village Apartments reported her neighbor was yelling and screaming.  Parties were advised.

Friday, Nov. 21

5:15 a.m.—A 911 caller stated that an SUV was being driven erratically on Cochituate Road near Saint Ann’s Church and had driven onto the sidewalk.  Police arrested Kelvin Solano Sanchez, 25, of Milton, MA on charges of OUI, marked lane violations, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

11:00 a.m.—A resident from Lee Road came to the station to report the violation of a restraining order.

Saturday, Nov. 22

11:47 a.m.—A traffic crash between two cars occurred at 5 Paths Court. 

Sunday, Nov. 23

4:09 p.m.—A resident of Alice Drive called to report an odor of natural gas inside the home.  Fire Department notified the gas company.

7:15 p.m.—A call from the CVS Pharmacy (150 Main St.) reported an incident of shoplifting that had just occurred.

Monday, Nov. 24

10:13 a.m.—Police responded to a minor accident on Commonwealth Road at Main Street involving a single motor vehicle.

5:52 p.m.—A 911 caller reported a two-vehicle accident at Lavin’s Liquor Store (330 Old Connecticut Path).

Tuesday, Nov. 5

5:50 p.m.—A resident of Woodridge Road called police about damage to her mailbox by a vehicle, the sideview mirror of which was left beside the mailbox.

Wednesday, Nov. 26

3:37 p.m.—A caller from Pelham Island Road near Boston Post Road reported a sick raccoon on the side of the road.  The raccoon was put down, and animal control was notified. 

5:15 p.m.—A caller from Old Sudbury Road near River Road reported that a car had run over a canoe that had been lying in the roadway.  DPW was notified.

10:20 p.m.—A report of a dead deer on Concord Road near Dylan’s Circle was received.

Saturday, Nov. 29

9:31 a.m.—In connection with a 911 call for medical assistance, there was concern about the condition of an external staircase at 78 Main Street.  The building inspector was called to the scene and condemned the staircase.   

8:41 p.m.—A caller reported that a deer was struck by a vehicle north of Wayland Center.  It was found near Old Sudbury Road at Glezen Lane and was moved to the side of the roadway.  Animal control was notified.

Sunday, Nov. 30

3:42 a.m.—Police reported a mailbox along Claypit Hill Road had been struck.

10:30 a.m.—A caller from Stonebridge Road reported a dead deer in the driveway; animal control was notified.

10:50 a.m.—Police reported damage to mailboxes at 4four residences on Stonebridge Road.
