Adult Guitar Group – Wayland Rec at Wayland School of Music

Get that guitar out of the closet! Whether you’re a complete beginner or returning after a break – pick up your guitar and unlock the joy of playing together, in this fun and accessible class created especially for adult learners! Our instructor Dan will guide you through the essential basic techniques. You’ll learn melodies, lead lines, and solid rhythm skills—including strumming patterns, rhythmic notation, and both open and barre chords.

Each class blends group instruction with hands-on help and practical playing, making progress feel natural and rewarding. No pressure—just music, growth, and a good time, while you develop the confidence and skills that will keep you playing for years to come.
