Tell Eversource If You Rely on Electricity for Life Support

If someone in your household requires electricity to power life-sustaining medical equipment, Eversource wants to know. Enroll in Eversource’s life support notification program, and Eversource will contact you during a power outage to ensure your safety and wellbeing. If Eversource is unable to reach you during a power outage, they can provide your address to town leaders who can check on your safety.

Enrollment in this program does NOT prioritize your service for faster restoration during a power outage. You are encouraged to have an alternate source of energy in the event of a prolonged outage.

To enroll, your physician must certify your needs in writing.
