In the Spring of 2025, Health Story Collaborative held a workshop where people from Wayland and surrounding towns created art which reflected their experience with addiction. Their artwork will be on display for the last two weeks of September, to honor Recovery Month. At this event, one of the artists will speak and light refreshments will be provided.

This guided walking tour by Gretchen Schuler showcases the distinctive buildings and landmarks that tell the story of our town's evolution from colonial settlement to a vibrant community. On Sunday September 28 we are hosting our third annual Celebrate with Heart Community Festival. Join us from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Cochituate Ball Fields in Wayland, MA. Registration is open for the 2025 Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai. Scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 5, funds raised from the Jimmy Fund Walk support all forms of adult and pediatric care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The Jimmy Fund Walk aims to raise $9.5 million this year in an effort to prevent, treat, and defy cancer.
The 27th annual Dudley Pond Run, sponsored by the Dudley Pond Association, will be held Sunday, October 5. Proceeds benefit the preservation of this beautiful public watershed. There are four events for all ages and abilities: a 5-kilometer race sanctioned by USA Track & Field (USATF), a 2-mile competitive walk, fun runs for kids from 1 to 10 years old, and a non-competitive fitness walk.
