The Artist Page: A Creative Flow & Expression — A 6 Week Journey Creativity doesn’t come from trying harder — it comes from listening, softening, and allowing your voice to return. Join Isabel Zhang for The Artist Page, a six week guided creative practice designed to move beyond overthinking and into authentic expression. Each session includes grounding, gentle prompts for writing, drawing, or a blend of both, and optional sharing in a supportive, non evaluative space. Learn to play the acoustic guitar in a fun class designed to engage and inspire! Students build a sound technical foundation through simple tunes, rhythms, and ensemble playing, in a relaxed setting that includes singing, movement and games. This class is based on the Suzuki method of music education, which has a 70-year history of success worldwide. Caregivers are encouraged to attend so they can learn to help their child at home. Discover the vibrant possibilities of watercolor and oil pastel in this engaging eight-week class with Rahul Ray. Painting with Watercolor and Oil Pastel with Rahul Ray will meet Tuesdays from 5:45–7:15 pm at the Arts Wayland Gallery, running April 14 through June 2, 2026. In this small studio class (maximum of 6 students), participants will develop or refine their painting skills while exploring the expressive qualities of watercolor alongside the bold, colorful versatility of oil pastels. The course will focus on essential artistic foundations—including observation, perspective, scale, and technique—with sketching as an important part of the process. Through guided exercises
This four-session workshop is all about building skills for real-life and online conversations—especially with people whose life experiences or perspectives differ from your own. Together, we’ll practice how to show up with curiosity and self-awareness, even when conversations feel uncomfortable or perspectives don’t align. jamele adams, an educator, facilitator, and community peacemaker, will lead four in-person sessions where participants can practice empathetic listening, learn from one another, and build trust and connection.
