Learn to play the acoustic guitar in a fun class designed to engage and inspire! Students build a sound technical foundation through simple tunes, rhythms, and ensemble playing, in a relaxed setting that includes singing, movement and games. This class is based on the Suzuki method of music education, which has a 70-year history of success worldwide. Caregivers are encouraged to attend so they can learn to help their child at home. Public Forum on Alcohol and Health
Dr. David H. Jernigan, Boston University professor and expert on alcohol policy, will discuss "Alcohol and Health: What do we know and what can we do?" in a public forum sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Sudbury and the Sudbury Board of Health. Everyone is welcome to seek help. Stop by the Library for free and confidential resources. The social worker can help with basic needs like food access or employment, make referrals to services, or provide support. Narcan will also be available to take at no cost. Most Fridays, 2-4 PM. Household Hazardous Waste Day will take place at 66 River Road, the Wayland DPW. It is free to Wayland residents, you must pre-register either online or on paper, paper copies of the registration form can be obtained at the Health Department or Transfer Station. Please note that Registration opens on November 7, 2025.
