The Wayland High School Theater Ensemble presents its Fall Musical “Head Over Heels,” a hilarious, high-energy musical comedy fresh from Broadway in 2019. It is a jukebox musical that adapts the plot of The Countess of Pembroke’s Arcadia, the 16th-century prose romance by Sir Philip Sidney. It is set to the beat of the iconic hits by The Go-Go’s. The plotline of the story follows the royal family of Arcadia on their journey to keep their famous “Beat”.This dazzling Elizabethan adventure of love, identity, and self-discovery will have you dancing in your seat and grinning from ear to ear.
Performances are Thursday and Friday, Nov. 20 and 21, at 7:30 p.m.; and Saturday, Nov. 22 at 5 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults, and $12 for students and senior citizens. Ticket Info is at WHSTE.com.
