Monday, Sept. 22
4:39 p.m. — An accident on Old Connecticut Path involving two vehicles was called in by 911. There were no injuries but one car was towed.
5:33 p.m. — An odor of natural gas inside the home was reported by a resident of Old Sudbury Road. The gas company was notified.
9:11 p.m. — A 911 call reported that a large tree had come down and damaged a car.

Tuesday, Sept. 23
1:42 p.m. — A telephone caller requested to speak with an officer regarding a bitcoin scam.
7:32 p.m. — A 911 caller from Caulfield Road was concerned that her husband was having a verbal altercation in their driveway with a heavyset man in his mid-twenties. The person was transported to the hospital.

Wednesday, Sept. 24
2:42 p.m. — A resident of Lodge Road called to report that a white male was going up to houses on the road. When asked what he was doing, he said he was looking for his keys. The responding officer found that the person was an approved solicitor who had lost his car keys.

Thursday, Sept. 25
6:07 a.m. — A caller from Claypit Hill Road reported a large tree branch in the roadway. It was moved to the side of the roadway and DPW was notified.
5:57 p.m. — A 911 call from Russell’s Garden Center (397 Boston Post Road) reported a large tree branch in the road. An officer removed the branch.

Friday, Sept. 26
5:20 p.m. — Police received a report of a vehicle parked under the solar panels at the Town Building (41 Cochituate Road) that was unoccupied and had been running for several hours. The owner was found and the vehicle was shut off.

Saturday, Sept. 27
11:58 a.m. — A party came to the police station to report the theft of a concrete mixer from a job site on Hillside Drive.
2:33 p.m. — A 911 caller notified police of a two-car motor vehicle accident at the TD Bank at 57 Main Street. No injuries were reported.
6:27 p.m. — Responding to a report of erratic operation of a motor vehicle near Wayland Center, police arrested Zoila Mendoza, 19, of Waltham, who was charged with OUI, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and marked lane violation.
7:33 p.m. — A resident of Bent Avenue called to report water coming from the ceiling from the apartment above. Wayland Housing Authority was notified.

Sunday, Sept. 28
7:46 a.m. — A caller from the Town Building was locked out of an SUV, which was running. The responder gained access.
3:26 p.m. — A caller from Indian Road reported that neighbors had an unattended fire burning in their yard. The homeowner was advised of the open burning laws.

Monday, Sept. 29
3:54 a.m. — A resident of Old Connecticut Path near Sycamore Road called to report an odor of gas in the area. The Fire Department reported this is an ongoing issue; National Grid was notified.
3:44 p.m. — A motor vehicle accident involving two SUVs occurred at Commonwealth Road near Winter Street.

Tuesday, Sept. 30
8:31 a.m. — A 911 caller reported a two-car accident on Old Connecticut Path near West Plain Street. There were no injuries.
11:15 a.m. — Police stopped a vehicle on Pelham Island Road, having been alerted by Weston Police to its being driven erratically. The operator was advised.
12:44 p.m. — A caller from Donelan’s Market (177 Commonwealth Rd) reported locating a skimmer on one of their machines.
3:42 p.m. — A 911 call from Alta Oxbow (490 Boston Post Rd) reported that a two-car crash had occurred. No injuries were reported.
4:08 p.m. — A two-car motor vehicle accident at Alta Oxbow was called in. There were no injuries.
7:27 p.m. — A caller from Claypit Hill Road stated there was an animal in the roadway. The responding officer discovered it was a trash bag. A message was left for DPW.

Wednesday, Oct. 1
1:24 p.m. — A caller from Happy Hollow School reported an accident between a school bus and an SUV. There were no injuries.

Thursday, Oct. 2
6:32 p.m. — An officer observed a dead turkey on the side of the roadway on East Plain Street. Animal control was called.
11:46 p.m. — A resident of 106 Main Street called to complain about another occupant yelling and throwing items at a wall. The occupant was advised.

Friday, Oct. 3
7:19 a.m. — The property owner at Cochituate Commons (44 Main Street) called to request an officer check a vehicle that was parked in the lot overnight. The vehicle owner was advised.
9:27 a.m. — A two-car motor vehicle accident at Wayland Center was called in by 911. There were no injuries.

Saturday, Oct. 4
11:11 a.m. — A 911 call was received about a two-car accident on Old Connecticut Path at Five Paths. There were injuries but no transport to hospital.
8:59 p.m. A caller from Mathews Drive reported that several youths in the area were ringing doorbells and throwing rocks. An officer spoke with five youths.
10:39 p.m. — A caller from Adams Lane stated that there were youths in the area that were yelling. An officer advised the parties.

Monday, Oct. 6
9:14 a.m. — A resident of Hearthstone Circle called 911 to report two youths walking in the woods. They were determined to be students missing from Brandon School. Officials of the school and Natick police were notified.

Tuesday, Oct. 7
7:37 a.m. — A traffic accident at Wayland Center involving two vehicles was reported by phone.

Wednesday, Oct. 8
1:37 a.m. — A monitoring company reported that there were two parties on the Bentley Boston property (533 Boston Post Road). The company stated they received no notification that work was being done and that no one should be on the property after midnight. Police confirmed that there were parties doing work at the location until Friday.
11:28 a.m. — A caller from Michael Road reported a tree leaning on some wires and blocking the road. Eversource was notified.
1:45 p.m. — A two-car traffic crash was reported at the intersection of Commonwealth Road and Main Street, with injuries, but transport to hospital was refused.
5:44 p.m. — There was a 911 call reporting an accident between two motor vehicles. Police requested assistance from the Fire Department for vehicles that were leaking fluids.
8:18 p.m. — A caller from Bent Avenue stated that a group of six youths on bikes were yelling at apartments. An officer spoke with the youths.

Thursday, Oct. 9
7:59 a.m. — A two-car accident, with no injuries. occurred at Wayland Car Clinic (356 Boston Post Rd).
3:49 p.m. — A caller from Five Paths reported a tree branch leaning into the roadway. The area was taped off and DPW was notified.

Friday, Oct. 10
11:46 p.m. — A 911 call from an alarm company reported an individual was walking around the lot at Bentley Boston (533 Boston Post Road) looking at cars.

Saturday, Oct. 11
11:43 a.m. — CVS Pharmacy called 911 to report light smoke inside the store. Smoke was confirmed to be coming from a rooftop unit, which the Fire Department shut down.
5:32 p.m. — A caller from Alta Oxbow (492 Boston Post Road) reported a fire in an apartment. The Fire Department responded and put out the fire.

Sunday, Oct. 12
10:53 p.m. — A motor vehicle accident occurred at Alta Oxbow (490 Boston Post Road) involving a single SUV hitting a utility pole. Three people were taken to area hospitals.
