Wayland Girl Scouts Awarded for their Achievements

On Friday, March 28th, Wayland Girl Scouts held their 2025 Court of Awards Ceremony at Wayland High School. The Ambassadors of Troop 78052 bridged to adult, completing several years of Girl Scouting and service work in the Wayland Community. Gold awards, bridges to next levels and other high awards were also presented Troop 78052 members that bridged to adult are Courtney Lloyd, Emma Gargano, Alyssa Ao, Tara Sawrikar, (not shown in the photos are Revathi Srinivasan and Eliza Cavelluzzi). The troop is led by Meg Gargano and Rebecca Lloyd.

Senator Jamie Eldridge presented 78052 troop members Emma Gargano, Alyssa Ao, and Tara Sawrikar with citations for their Gold Awards. The Gold Award is the most prestigious honor a Girl Scout can receive. Girls who earn the Gold Award demonstrate extraordinary leadership through their projects, which have sustainable and measurable impact in their communities and beyond. Additionally, Troop 72122 bridged to Senior, and Troop 66268 bridged to Ambassador, and several other High Awards were celebrated. Board of Selectman Bill Whitney spoke during the ceremony, congratulating the girls on their accomplishments.
