Hooligans FC, a U10 Wayland boys soccer team composed of fifth-graders, continues to dominate the competition following up its outdoor season championship with another in its indoor league.
Playing two years up in competition in the U12 division at Forekicks in Marlborough, the Hooligans won their second consecutive indoor title over a much bigger Milford team. The season reached an unforgettable peak in the championship match, when Hooligans FC captured the title on a dramatic last-second walk-off goal.
The hard-fought victory showcased the team’s grit, depth, and competitive spirit, setting a high standard and building momentum heading into the next season. Jeff Martynick, Parker Griffin, Cameron Todd and goalie Billy Coode all had key contributions in the title game.
