4th Annual Wayland STEM Fair

WAYLAND, MA – Dec 13th, 2025 1-4pm – The Wayland High School (WHS) Robotics Team, known as the “Control Freaks,” is proud to announce the return of the annual Wayland Community STEM Fair, a vibrant, student-run event aimed at fostering interest and creativity in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) among the next generation of innovators in Wayland.

The STEM Fair, which has been running annually for three years, was originally founded by the WHS Robotics Team to serve as a platform for local students to showcase their passion projects and engage with technology hands-on.

Event Highlights:
Student-Created Projects: The fair will feature over ten innovative projects from both middle and high school students.
Interactive Experiences: Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with interactive exhibits and demonstrations provided by various WHS clubs, including live robotics demonstrations from the Control Freaks themselves, and local STEM organizations.
Community Impact: The event has historically been well-attended and has proven successful in inspiring future Robotics Team members and encouraging broad participation in STEM fields.

The Robotics Team aims to fully fill our available space in the WHS Commons this year and show the community the amazing creativity happening in our schools.

The Wayland Community STEM Fair will be held at the WHS Commons on Dec 13th, 2025 1-4pm. The community is invited to attend this free event to celebrate student innovation.
