Cradles to Crayons donation drive

Wayland is hosting Cradles to Crayons this spring to collect new & gently used kids clothes (now accepting sizes newborn through adult XL), shoes, winter coats, boots and books to support local children living in homeless or low-income situations. *Please note they no longer accept toys* see what donations Cradles to Crayons will accept - https://www.cradlestocrayons.org/boston/take-action/donate-goods/items-we-accept Bring your donations to any of the following spots between April 23-May 15 - Loker (storage bin in parking lot), Claypit Hill, Happy Hollow, Wayland Creative (permanent bin), Wayland High School or Wayland Library.
Painting with Watercolor and Oil Pastels
First Parish in Wayland 225 Boston Post RoadDevelop or refine your skill in painting with watercolor and oil pastels with Dr. Rahul Ray. The 8-week class will begin on Monday April 28th, from 5:45 to 7:15, at The First Parish in Wayland. The classes will be held in a studio setting and focus on fundamental skills, such as observation, perspective, scale, and technique (e.g. sketching). Various subjects, including still-life, landscape, and portrait will be included in the exercises. Oil pastels will provide a versatile medium for painting with bright colors. Call for Walkers: Register for the 37th Annual Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai
Boston Common 139 Tremont St, BostonRegistration is open for the 2025 Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai. Scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 5, funds raised from the Jimmy Fund Walk support all forms of adult and pediatric care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The Jimmy Fund Walk aims to raise $9.5 million this year in an effort to prevent, treat, and defy cancer.
