About
The Wayland Post was launched by Wayland residents Dave Watkins, Carole Plumb, and June Valliere, following an initial organizing effort that included Chris Hill and Sue Flicop, in response to the decline of sustained local news coverage in the community. The Wayland Post is a nonprofit, community-supported local newspaper funded through donations and advertising, which support printing, distribution, and limited professional services. Editorial leadership and much of the reporting, production, and distribution work are carried out by volunteers.
