6:13 p.m. — A caller from Donelan’s Market (177 Commonwealth Road) reported juveniles on bicycles riding in the parking lot in a dangerous manner. The youths were advised.
Tuesday, Dec. 2
11:43 a.m. — Police reported a single car accident with no injuries on Main Street; a utility pole, though struck, was not damaged, but Eversource was notified.
11:57 a.m. — Responding to a call from Woodland Road, Fire Department detected an odor of gas in the basement. The gas company was notified.
2:09 p.m. — A motor vehicle was reported by 911 to have crashed into a tree on Pelham Island Road. One person was transported to Newton Wellesley Hospital and the car was towed.
6:14 p.m. — A caller from Stonebridge Road reported a small tree in the westbound lane of the roadway. It was cleared by an officer.
Wednesday, Dec. 3
10:11 a.m. — Police determined that a disabled vehicle on Commonwealth Road needed to be moved off the roadway; it was later towed.
1:56 p.m. — A 911 call from Town Center stated that a tractor trailer was broken down on Boston Post Road, obstructing traffic. Police rendered services.
5:07 p.m. — A caller from Cochituate Village Apartments (106 Main St.) complained that the resident in the next apartment was throwing things and making noise. The responding officer was unable to make contact but advised the party through the door.
Thursday, Dec. 4
9:16 a.m. — The facilities manager at Carroll School (45 Waltham Road) called about a van parked in the lot on his arrival at 5 a.m. Sandbags and a Christmas tree had been left outside the van, but no one was seen. Police advised the caller.
12:57 p.m. — A resident of Cochituate Village Apartments (106 Main St.) reported that another resident had activated an alarm in the building.
2:01 p.m. — A 911 caller reported hitting a deer on Boston Post Road.
4:35 p.m. — A motor vehicle was reported to be disabled near the exit to the parking lot of Temple Shir Tikva (141 Boston Post Road). Awaiting AAA response, police officers moved the vehicle out of the way.
Friday, Dec. 5
12:59 a.m. — A resident of 106 Main St. reported his car was taken by an acquaintance; it was later recorded as stolen. The vehicle was located by Framingham police.
2:34 p.m. — A resident of West Plain Street came to the station to report a larceny in which a contractor had taken a deposit for work but never completed the job.
3:31 p.m. — A resident of Cochituate Village Apartments was reportedly slamming doors and screaming, according to another resident who called the police. An officer spoke with both parties.
5:43 p.m. — A caller from Concord Road reported an injured deer near the intersection with Glezen Lane. An officer confirmed; the deer left the scene on its own.
10:53 p.m. — A report of a fight at a neighbor’s house was called in by 911 from Snake Brook Road. Police responded.
Saturday, Dec. 6
8:35 a.m. — A 911 call reported a minor accident at Old Connecticut Path at Cochituate Road between two motor vehicles.
8:42 p.m. — A call from Walgreen’s (35 Main St.) reported a disabled car that was leaking fuel. An absorbent was placed by responding fire personnel; the car’s operator was awaiting a tow.
9:37 p.m. — Police received a report of an owl in the road at Old Connecticut Path at Rice Road. The owl flew off when an officer approached.
10:18 p.m. — Responding to a report of a tree leaning on wires along Rice Road, Fire Department notified the electric company.
11:52 p.m. — A resident of Decatur Lane called to complain of loud music in the area. Responding officer advised the parties.
Sunday, Dec. 7
8:43 a.m. — A resident of Oak Street reported a leaking hydrant. Water Department was notified.
11:15 a.m. — A caller reported that there was a vehicle parked in the area of Turkey Hill Village and St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church (169 Rice Road) that was blocking the roadway. An officer spoke with a church attendee, who moved the car.
3:36 p.m. — A minor motor vehicle accident occurred between a car and a truck, both parked in the TD Bank parking lot (57 Main St.).
Monday, Dec. 8
12:59 p.m. — A caller requested to speak with an officer regarding an issue with a seller on eBay. A report was filed.
5:33 p.m. — A caller from Alta Oxbow (490 Boston Post Road) reported a dead deer in the roadway. Mass Highway was notified.
Tuesday, Dec. 9
8:07 a.m. — A traffic crash between a car and a minivan on Boston Post Road near Vokes Theater was called in by 911. One person was transported to Lahey Hospital.
1:52 p.m. — A caller from Concord Road reported to police that he observed a neighbor taking a package off his front porch.
11:21 p.m. — A 911 caller reported that a deer had been struck in the vicinity of 243 Commonwealth Road. The person involved in the accident also called in.
Wednesday, Dec. 10
7:28 a.m. — A Glezen Lane resident called about a pickup truck parked in an empty lot next to his driveway with no one around. The responding officer advised that vehicle was to be moved.
3:17 p.m. — A resident of Cochituate Village Apartments (106 Main St.) called to report a disturbance caused by another resident. An officer spoke to the calling party.
3:39 p.m. — Eastern Propane telephoned that a resident of Riverview Circle was concerned about a gas leak; their technician was en route to the scene.
Thursday, Dec. 11
5:27 p.m. — A person entered the station to speak with an officer regarding their car being damaged by a shovel in the roadway near 44 Boston Post Road.
8:27 p.m. — A resident of Covered Bridge Lane came to the station to speak to an officer about a vehicle that may have followed their children home after school.
Friday, Dec. 12
10:46 a.m. — A caller from Sherman’s Bridge Road reported that his mailbox and the telephone pole outside his house was struck the previous night. An officer confirmed minor damage to the pole; Eversource was notified.
11:01 a.m. — Two vehicles were involved in a traffic accident at the intersection of Routes 20, 126 and 27. There were no injuries.
Saturday, Dec. 13
11:02 a.m. — A call from the Wayland Country Club (121 Old Sudbury Road) reported someone was going through items in a locked area.
Sunday, Dec. 14
7:17 a.m. — A 911 caller reported that a car had gone off the road at Cochituate Road near Pequot Road and into the woods. No injuries were reported.
7:52 p.m. — A traffic accident at Old Connecticut Path near Rice Road was called in by 911. Two vehicles were involved; there were no injuries, but one car was towed.
7:56 a.m. — Police radioed in that there was another motor vehicle accident on Old Connecticut Path when a car hit a utility pole. There was minimal damage; electric company was notified.
8:55 a.m. — A 911 call reported an accident at School Street and Cochituate Road occurred when the car hit a stop sign. There were no injuries; DPW was notified regarding damage to the street and stop signs.
9:01 a.m. — A caller reported a two-car accident at Old Connecticut Path at Charena Road.
9:40 a.m. — A caller notified police of a traffic accident at Concord Road and Waltham Road involving two vehicles. One person was taken to Emerson Hospital; DPW was notified that a stop sign was knocked down.
11:09 a.m. — A resident of Alta Oxbow (492 Boston Post Road) came to the station to talk with an officer regarding stolen items.
5:13 p.m. — A caller from Concord Road reported that a deer was struck by a car; the deer walked away onto nearby property but may have been injured.
