we'll rave the preamble we'll call this board of assessors meeting to order by roll call vote

do we have any body in the waiting room for public comment tonight oh i see nobody waiting right now
okay so without public comment rob will head up to you for first item on the agenda terrific
we have minutes on page three in your package open session minutes from monday march 16th
two pages no questions on my end i'm all set i'm good great give a motion to accept the minutes
sorry zach go ahead yeah yeah no it's just going to make a motion to accept the amendments as
drafted a second amount motion i will call it zach ventress yes steve clifford yes
mcneely yes and philip park chefs unanimous thank you moving on to page five fiscal year
2026 county year 2026 motor vehicle and trailer excise second commitment and the total tax
valuation excuse me total tax of 334 thousand five hundred and seventeen dollars and 95 cents
make a motion to approve the let's see sorry prove the warrant for the motor vehicle excise taxes for the amount of
sorry uh it's do we need the valuation or the amount sorry i'm just blanking on looking at the document the tax amount please yeah okay 334 thousand 517.95 i second that in my roll call vote zach ventress yes steve clifford yes mcneely yes and philip park yes unanimous thank you i'm going to go back to the agenda on page one for directors review and update of office activities it's now 6 0 8. stephen foley is back he's back uh four out of five days a week and again we want to con congratulate stephen and his family for their new addition uh we've completed in-house collection and data input for fy 2027 forms of list income and expense and three abc charitable forms we've completed collection of fy 2026 exemption applications which were due april 1st 2026 at 4 p.m we're going to discuss that in the executive session fy 2026 real estate abatements have been finalized and the office has resumed building cyclical and sales inspections we're also busy with general office activity as usual a reminder to the board and the public town election is tuesday april 28th 2026 the annual town meeting is monday may 4th 2026 and stephen clickord senior tax relief committee liaison is going to give us an update on article kk which is the proposed senior tax credit so the uh select board have determined that among other things which is something that robert already stated which is the article was not in conformance with state law and therefore uh the board elected to withdraw it and it will not be on the uh in the warrant for this year they did encourage us to think about things we want to do for next year for something else if you want but uh for right now that's uh it's a dead issue in the uh i've explained that to the committee and they're all fine with what's going on and so we're moving on thank you stephen yep are there any topics not anticipated prior to this meeting none for me thanks no i'm all set thank you we propose the date of the next meeting to might be monday may 11th because again may 4th is the annual town meeting so monday may 11th will be our next meeting and that's all we have on the agenda for this evening um we could close the meeting and move on to executive session that would be great
