First Parish in Wayland

Enjoy the talent of Cuban pianist, composer, and bandleader Zahili Zamora. During this special concert, she will unveil a selection of her new compositions from her upcoming album, set to be released this year. Zahili will be accompanied by Panamanian saxophonist Samuel Batista, Dominican percussionist Francis P., and Dominican bassist Abner Cabrera. With Dr. Rahul Ray. The 8-week class will begin on Monday Jan. 27, from 5:45 to 7:15 p.m., at The First Parish in Wayland. The classes will be held in a studio setting and focus on fundamental skills, such as observation, perspective, scale, and technique (e.g. sketching).

This event will blend storytelling with a performance to create an immersive learning experience.
