The Wayland Museum & Historical Society is welcoming its first executive director, Scarlett V. Hoey. A Wayland native, Hoey brings extensive experience in museum leadership, community partnerships, and nonprofit management to her new position. Her background includes roles with the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, ArtsWorcester, and the New England Museum Association. Hoey, who studied art history and photography at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, credits growing up in Wayland with inspiring her passion for New England history.
