The Wayland Post is more than just a newspaper—it’s a cornerstone of our community. Today, we’re inviting 300 local families to join an exciting new chapter in local journalism by becoming Sudbury River Founding Circle Members.

Why did we choose to name this the Sudbury River Founding Circle? Because the river connects all parts of the Wayland community, which is the goal for the Wayland Post.

A sustainable future for local news

Local non-profit journalism thrives on community support. Our new membership program is designed to provide a predictable, sustainable funding stream that keeps you connected with the stories that matter most in Wayland. By joining, you’re not only ensuring the future of independent journalism in our town, but you’re also becoming an integral part of our community’s voice.

What Is the membership program?

The Wayland Post Membership Program is a tiered system that offers exclusive benefits and closer connections to the publication with each membership level. Our highest level, The Sudbury River Founders Circle, is reserved for our most dedicated supporters.

Here’s a quick look at what the tiers offer:

  • Great Meadows Community Member: For just $10/month or $120/year, enjoy digital access to exclusive content, a Wayland Post baseball cap, and recognition in both our website and print editions.
  • Pine Brook Advocate: At $20/month or $240/year, receive all Great Meadows Community Member benefits, plus early access to select stories and invitations to quarterly virtual Q&A sessions with our Wayland Post team.
  • Heard Pond Supporting Member: For $40/month or $480/year, enjoy all Pine Brook Advocate benefits, plus a free water bottle and access to our annual members-only event featuring special guest speakers.

  • Sudbury River Founders Circle: For those contributing $100+/month or $1,200+/year, all the benefits of a Dudley Pond Sustaining Member are yours, plus a one-on-one meeting with members of the Wayland Post team and your name proudly displayed on a virtual dedicated Founders Circle donor wall.
