“Reset Your Nervous System: An Adult Creative Journey Into 2026” at the Arts Wayland gallery (four Thursdays beginning Jan. 8). Designed for adults, this creative series offers a grounding, neuroscience-based approach to closing out 2025 and stepping intentionally into 2026. More than an art class or vision board workshop, this is a hands-on experience that helps you regulate your nervous system, reduce stress, and rewire your inner state through non-verbal creative expression. Using rhythm, bilateral movement, gratitude practices, and guided reflection, participants build a 2026 vision from a calm, aligned, and empowered place. No art experience required. $222.

Arts Wayland opens its 2026 season with the Berklee Faculty Jazz Series, under the direction of Neil Olmstead, Berklee College Professor Emeritus. Internationally acclaimed trumpeter and Berklee professor Tiger Okoshi presents his new quintet, Truly True, joined by violinist Louis Thélot, cellist Peter Sumner, bassist Ferran Rico Andres, and vibraphonist Sam Cerra. Tiger describes this innovative music as sound waves invoking verticality and horizontality, clarity, joy, love, and color. $20.
