John Kevin Carroll, 88, formerly of Martha’s Vineyard, died peacefully, in the care and comfort of his family, on Oct. 15. He was born in Canton, the son of the late Frank J. Carroll and Norma (Ahearn) Carroll.
He is survived by his son, Brendan; his daughter, Miriam Carroll Fenton; his grandchildren, Emma and Oliver; and his sister, Miriam Carroll Woods, of Bronxville, N.Y.
A Mass of Christian Burial is set for Nov. 7 at 11 a.m. at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 650 Nichols St., Norwood. Interment follows at Canton Corner Cemetery, 1600 Washington St., Canton.
