Monday, August 4
10:06 p.m. — Police responded to a report of erratic operation of a motor vehicle when a vehicle pulled into a driveway on Boston Post Road near Winthrop Road. The car was found parked in the garage.


Tuesday, August 5
8:33 a.m. — A Lake Road resident called to report a dead skunk. The animal control officer was notified.
9:21 a.m. — A person from Claypit Hill Road walked into the station to speak with an officer regarding an aggressive dog. The party was advised and was given the public number for the animal control officer.
11:45 a.m. — The Fire Department responded to an alarm at 233 Boston Post Road that detected smoke on the second floor.


Wednesday, August 6
10:56 a.m. — A resident of Deer Run walked in to report a larceny of jewelry.
3:08 p.m. — A 911 call reported a traffic accident involving a car and a deer at Boston Post Road near the Land Rover dealership. MassDOT was notified.
4:36 p.m. — A three-vehicle accident was called in from Commonwealth Road near School Street. One vehicle was towed.
6:00 p.m. — A resident of Barney Hill Road called to report that a workman whom she had not hired arrived at her house to do some work. The party was advised by police.
7:09 p.m. — A caller from Old Tavern Road reported that a black van with New Hampshire tags was parked in front of his home. Police contacted the operator, who moved the vehicle.


Thursday, August 7
12:47 p.m. — Weston police requested police to see whether a resident of Lincoln Road, who reportedly struck a fence in Weston, was at home. No one answered the door.
1:35 p.m. — A 911 call made from Oxbow Road turned out to be triggered when a doctor was counseling a patient and Siri dialed 911 by accident.
2:03 p.m. — A Woodridge Road res-
ident telephoned that a tree had fallen on some wires. Eversource was notified.
2:04 p.m. — A caller reported that a car was being operated erratically in the vicinity of Main Street and Commonwealth Road. Police located the car and gave the operator a verbal citation.


Friday, August 8
3:59 p.m. — A caller from Adams Lane found a dog. An officer took possession and notified the dog officer. At 5:34 p.m., the owner called about their missing dog and was advised to contact the dog officer.


Saturday, August 9
8:33 a.m. — A resident of Dairy Farm Lane walked in to speak with an officer about online harassment. A report was filed.
2:54 p.m. — A walk-in requested to speak with an officer in regards to harassment. A report was filed.
8:54 p.m. — An arrest was made in connection with an assault at the boat ramp off Boston Post Road at the Sudbury River. Manuel Navas Argujo, 20, of Marlborough, was charged with assault and battery, serious bodily injury, assault to murder, and threat to commit a crime.


Sunday, August 10
12:29 p.m. — A caller from the Methodist Church at 80 Main St. reported that the crosswalk lights were not working.
5:01 p.m. — A small brush fire was reported by a 911 caller at the Loker Conservation Area.
5:04 p.m. — An Edgewood Road resident telephoned the police to complain about a neighbor playing music too loud. The officer determined that it was not unreasonable for the time of day.
5:39 p.m. — A 911 caller was concerned about a vehicle being driven erratically and repeatedly hitting the curb. Police stopped the car on Boston Post Road; the operator checked out OK.


Monday, August 11
10:11 a.m. — A call from Woburn Medical Associates reported harassing phone calls and asked police to speak with the caller. The party could be heard in her apartment but refused to open the door.
2:23 p.m. — A 911 call reported a tree resting on the wires on Hayward Road. Sylvan and Hayward Roads were blocked, and DPW was notified to respond with chainsaws.


Tuesday, August 12
7:56 a.m. — A minor motor vehicle accident on Concord Road near Glezen Lane was called in to 911.


Wednesday, August 13
5:38 a.m. — A caller from West Plain Street complained that a rooster was wak-
ing her up every morning. She was advised to notify the animal control officer.
10:23 a.m. — A telephone caller stated that his vehicle was struck while he was in the doctor’s office at Beth Israel Deaconess Health (101 Andrew Ave), and that a note was left with the offender’s information.
4:39 p.m. — A 911 caller reported that the eastbound traffic light on Route 30 near Loker Conservation Area was out.
8:00 p.m. — Police received a 911 report of an accident involving a motor vehicle and a deer on Route 27 near Water Row.


Thursday, August 14
11:09 a.m. — A Rice Road resident reported that his daughter was approached by a man who asked her if she wanted to join a quest to find Jesus. Police checked the area, including the residence of the owner of an SUV parked at Turkey Hill trailhead, but were unable to locate the party.
9:31 p.m. — A single-car crash on Rich Valley Road reported by a 911 call resulted in injury and transport to the hospital.


Friday, August 15
9:54 a.m. — A parent walked into the station to speak with an officer about her children being harassed at the Wayland/Weston crew boat house at the Town Beach.
10:11 a.m. — A resident of Fuller Road called police to report a fraudulent attempt to withdraw $40,000 from a business checking account.
6:16 p.m. — A resident of Oxbow Road came in to speak with an officer about a scam.
6:33 p.m. — An officer reported a two-car crash at the intersection at town center.


Saturday, August 16
6:32 a.m. — A caller from Rice Road reported a tree down across the road. An officer taped off the area and DPW was notified.
6:37 p.m. — A 911 caller was concerned about two workmen who were working with a ladder, perhaps unsafely, in the area of Commonwealth Avenue and Old Tavern Road. Police advised the workers about being in the roadway.
10:13 p.m. — The Fire Department assisted a resident of Buckskin Drive who was locked out of their residence.

Monday, August 18
9:18 a.m. — A caller from Three Ponds Road stated that someone dumped trash into a dumpster on his property during the night.
11:03 a.m. — A resident of Mainstone Farm, Turkey Hill Village, reported a case of bank fraud.
8:46 p.m. — A resident of Cole Road called to speak with an officer regarding an interaction between an owl and a rabbit at his home.


Tuesday, August 19
9:11 a.m. — A phoned-in report of an alarm going off at Almaari Jewelers (65 Andrew Ave.) was checked out.  Everything was okay and the owner was informed.
2:16 p.m. — A resident of Old Connecticut Path walked into the police station to speak with an officer regarding fraud. 
11:46 p.m. — A 911 call from Old Connecticut Path reported an incident involving a car and a deer.


Wednesday, August 20
12:04 p.m. — Police found a disabled motor vehicle at Five Paths. It was removed from the roadway.
9:18 p.m. — A resident of Concord Road near Sage Hill Road telephoned to report a dog lost in the roadway. The dog was located and returned to its home.

Thursday, August 21
6:55 a.m. — A report was received of a traffic accident involving a motor vehicle and a utility pole. Eversource was notified; the car was towed.
4:50 p.m. — A resident of Oak Street telephoned to report that her gas stove had been left on and there was a strong odor of gas. The Fire Department confirmed the odor but found zero readings. The house was vented.
5:54 p.m. — A caller from West Plain Street reported three juveniles were riding scooters in the middle of the roadway. The parties were advised.
8:48 p.m. — Police stopped a motor vehicle at Keith Road and Main Street and arrested the driver for OUI and child endangerment. 
9:36 p.m. — A caller from the Dudley Chateau (20 Crest Road) stated she had found a belt of ammunition.  The responding officer said the ammunition was plastic and he would dispose of it.

Friday, August 22
1:15 a.m. — At Cochituate State Park headquarters, police stopped and arrested Matthew Perry, 31, of Framingham on a warrant. 
1:49 p.m. — A traffic accident on Boston Post Road near the First Parish Church involving three vehicles was phoned in.

Saturday, August 23
10:16 a.m. — A resident of Maguire Road called to report that his neighbor on Charles Street was playing his music too loudly and was not home. An officer spoke with the resident.
1:29 p.m. — An employee at Starbucks (44 Main St.) called 911 to report that the bathroom door had been locked for 30-40 minutes. It was unknown whether anyone was inside, although some noises were heard; however, no one answered when the door was knocked on. The Fire Department found the problem was with the door.
