Wayland Youth Soccer’s Spring 2026 season came to an end in June. With 28 intramural teams (K-2) and 29 travel teams (grades 3-8) they kept a large portion of Wayland’s youth running and playing throughout the spring.
Three teams qualified for post-season tournaments in the BAYS soccer league, highlighted by the Wayland Reign fifth-grade girls squad, which repeated as President’s Cup champions.
Wayland Reign (5th-grade girls): President’s Cup champions

“This is an incredibly talented group of athletes who have learned to trust each other and play as a team,” said head coach Pam Wineman. “These girls won Division 1A for both the fall and spring seasons. They went on to battle back from being down in the Presidents Cup championship game to winning in OT! They are a joy to coach and know when it’s time to work and also when it’s time to have fun. We are so proud of this crew!”

The Wayland Revolution capped off an outstanding spring season by winning the Division 1B championship with an 8-1-1 record, fueled by a season-long commitment to teamwork and selflessness. Many of the players have been part of Wayland Youth Soccer (WAYS) since kindergarten, building lasting friendships and memories both on and off the field.
The Revolution scored 33 goals while allowing just 12 during the regular season. Wayland’s playoff run ended in a semifinals loss to Newton B Juniors, which went on to capture the Division 1 MTOC title.
