Monday, Sept. 7

8:01 a.m. — A caller from Plain Road reported wires down across the roadway. Eversource was notified.

8:30 p.m. — An employee of Wayland House of Pizza, 336 Boston Post Road, called police concerning a male party who had entered the shop. Taken into custody and arrested on a warrant was Cesar Lazaro Castro Ramirez, 62, of Sudbury.

Tuesday, Sept. 8

1:48 a.m. — Breaking and entering a motor vehicle was reported from Trinity Place.

8:19 a.m. — A 911 call from Dudley Road concerned breaking and entering of motor vehicles at residences on Dudley and Sunset roads.

9:48 a.m. — A person came to the station to report a possible break in attempt on Commonwealth Road.

10:18 a.m. — A caller from Gregory Lane reported a potential break in of their vehicle; a backpack was left by the vehicle.

2:25 p.m. — A breaking and entering of a motor vehicle was reported by an Aqueduct Road caller.

5:30 p.m. — A 911 call from Pine Needle Road reported a gas leak. National Grid was notified.

Wednesday, Sept. 9

3:03 p.m. — A caller from Aqueduct Road stated that someone entered her car the previous evening and cash was stolen.

5:39 p.m. — A caller from Brook Trail Road reported a large branch was leaning on wires, causing smoke and fire. The road was closed and Eversource was notified.

Thursday, Sept. 10

6:54 a.m. — A motor vehicle accident involving two cars occurred on Boston Post Road at Plain Road. No injuries were reported.

8:45 a.m. — A 911 call reported a two-car crash at Andrew Avenue and Lillian Way.

5:40 p.m. — From Claypit Hill School, 86 Claypit Hill Road, came a call that a child and an adult had been bitten by a dog that was running in the area. The Animal Control Officer was notified.

Friday, Sept. 11

8:49 a.m. — A two-vehicle accident occurred on Concord Road near the library.

5:54 p.m. — A traffic crash involving two cars at the intersection at Wayland Center was reported by a 911 call.

Saturday, Sept. 12

2:16 p.m. — A hit-and-run accident at Five Paths was reported by a 911 call. A car with California plates left the scene, heading northbound on Route 27; both Lincoln and Sudbury police departments were notified.

9:28 p.m. — A 911 caller reported a car hit a pole near the intersection of Waltham and Lincoln roads. Eversource was notified.

Sunday, Sept. 13

9:05 a.m. — From Camp Chickami, a caller reported a large pipe by the pool had burst. The relevant contact was notified.

11:46 a.m. — A caller from Oxbow Road reported a large tree had fallen on primary wires. Eversource was notified and the area was secured.

2:49 p.m. — According to a caller on Main Street, a tree had fallen in the roadway. Another caller reported a tree branch had fallen on her car. There were no injuries but the car was towed.

4:36 p.m. — A 911 call from Plain Road reported a tree fell in the yard, bringing down wires. DPW was called to detour Plain Road at Claypit Hill Road and Farmcrest Lane. Eversource was notified.

4:53 p.m. — An officer reported a tree had fallen on Cochituate Road near Woodridge Road; the tree was cleared.

8:24 p.m. — A party from Commonwealth Road came to the station to report a scam.

10:23 p.m. — A 911 caller from Wayland Automotive, 322 Commonwealth Road, reported that a tree fell in the roadway and a moving vehicle hit the tree. Passersby were able to clear the tree, but the vehicle sustained damage and had to be towed.

11:55 p.m. — A police officer found the crosswalk light at the intersection of Boston Post Road and Andrew Avenue had gotten stuck. He fixed it.

Monday, Sept. 14

5:32 p.m. — A 911 caller reported that a tree branch struck his vehicle on Stonebridge Road at Oak Hill Road. Police found a large tree branch resting on primary wires and notified Eversource, who said they would be sending a crew overnight. Detour signs placed on Oak Hill Road were to be picked up by DPW.

7:58 p.m. — Police were called about a large box in the road near the church on Cochituate Road at the town center. The box was removed.

Tuesday, Sept. 15

2:54 p.m. — A motor vehicle accident on Old Connecticut Path near Five Paths was called in by 911. There were no injuries.

Wednesday, Sept. 16

5:22 a.m. — A sergeant reported a dead raccoon on Main Street near Mathews Drive. The animal control officer was notified.

3:51 p.m. — A minor traffic accident that occurred on Commonwealth Road at Oak Street was called in.

6:34 p.m. — A 911 call from Wayland Center described erratic operation of a vehicle described as a white bus/van. The driver was given a verbal citation.

Thursday, Sept. 17

8:36 a.m. — A two-car accident on Westway Road at Old Connecticut Path was called in by 911.

12:28 p.m. — Wires were reported down in the vicinity of Damon Street; Verizon was notified.

Friday, Sept. 18

2:51 a.m. — A 911 caller from Plain Road reported a power outage and utility pole sparking. Police confirmed a tree had fallen, blocking the roadway. Eversource was notified; the fire department, reporting smoke from embers, remained on scene. DPW was notified for road closure.

5:57 a.m. — A resident of Training Field Road called about a gas leak alarm. The fire department confirmed a furnace problem; the house was metered with zero readings. Occupants were advised to notify the propane company.

8:06 a.m. — A three-car crash, called in by 911, occurred at Old Sudbury Road and Andrew Avenue.

10:30 a.m. — A caller from Old Sudbury Road reported a large tree down and blocking the road. DPW was notified.

12:38 p.m. — A two-car accident on Old Connecticut Path near Hawthorne Road resulted in injuries that required MedFlight transport to Boston Medical Center.

7:26 p.m. — A fire alarm was received from Residences at Tradition, 6 Green Way; the fire department stated the cause was smoke in the second floor hallway. The property management company was notified. A second alarm was received two hours later, and the captain attempted contact with management.

Saturday, Sept. 19

6:03 p.m. — A telephone call from Lincoln Road described large tree limbs lying on wires. Eversource was notified.

9:07 p.m. — A caller from Claypit Hill Road lodged a complaint about a loud party nearby. Several juveniles were found in the area and were turned over to their parents at the scene.

Sunday, Sept. 20

7:33 a.m. — A 911 call from Concord Road reported an injured deer. The deer was put down and animal control was notified.

8:30 a.m. — A caller from Alta Oxbow, 490 Boston Post Road, reported an alleged theft by a home health aide that occurred on Wednesday.

4:31 p.m. — A caller from Commonwealth Road near Winter Street said there was a dead deer on the side of the road. An officer confirmed and notified animal control.

9:04 p.m. — A caller from Glezen Lane was concerned about a dozen juveniles causing a disturbance and refusing to leave his property. Police assisted in moving the juveniles along.
