Student Tapped for Honor Choir

Wayland High School proudly announces that Pariplavi Sontha, a senior, was selected to perform in the 2025 National Association for Music Education (NAME), All Eastern Honors Choir on April 24โ€“27 in Hartford. This prestigious honor recognizes the most talented and dedicated high school musicians from the eastern United States.

Pariplavi Sontha was chosen through a highly competitive selection process at the state and regional levels. The NAME All-Eastern Honors Ensembles bring together top student musicians from 11 states in the Eastern Division, offering them the opportunity to perform under the direction of nationally renowned conductors. The conductor for the Treble Honor Choir was Jessica Nรกpoles from the University of North Texas.

The concert program included: โ€œIโ€™ll Never Study,โ€ โ€œThere was a Time,โ€ โ€œMy Soul,โ€ โ€œMantraโ€ and โ€œNeed You to Survive.โ€
