Local historian, Rick Conard with the newly restored signal atop the Wayland Depot. The rail signal. installed at Wayland’s Central Massachusetts railroad station when it was originally built in 1881, was recently restored with funds from the Community Preservation Act and with input and guidance from Conard and others.
