The town is inviting residents and business owners to help shape its updated Hazard Mitigation Plan — a critical document that identifies natural hazard risks facing the community and outlines strategies to reduce damage to people, property, infrastructure, and the environment — at a meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 10:30-11:30 a.m., at the Wayland Community Center (8 Andrew Ave.).
Community input is essential to ensuring the plan reflects local priorities and strengthens Wayland’s long-term resilience. Residents are encouraged to participate in an upcoming public meeting to share their experiences, identify local hazard concerns, and provide input.
